Approach and Skills
There’s a lot of debate in the film/video industry around the term ‘videographer’—does it sell you short when you also consider yourself more than just a jack of all trades? The short answer, who cares!
What you should know about me is that I’m a professional. I respect budgets, clients, collaborators, outcomes, and above all else: following through. Whether it’s end to end production or as a small piece of a bigger picture, every aspect of the process is something that demands creativity, storytelling, and attention to detail—and that’s what I strive to bring to the table.
The tools of the trade are constantly evolving and it’s important to keep up with the latest in tech, but the one thing that always stays at the heart of this business is telling authentic stories that have an impact on the viewer. Cameras continue to improve, great lenses keep getting more accessible, and AI can make parts of editing lightning fast and mind-blowingly epic, yet just knowing the tools won’t cut it. We still have to be insightful enough to know what the story should be and creative enough to bring it to life.
